Used Koops Overhead Doors to replace the original two 38 year old garage doors on my home. Have to give Koops the highest superlative ratings in the following areas: Price, Selection, Responsiveness, Workmanship, Communications. – June 2024

They recently replaced our old wooden garage doors with metal ones. Quick responses to schedule appointments. Showed up on time, stood by their estimate and their work. Worked with us to help with design of the new doors, including providing multiple sets of sample colors, etc. Have also used them in the past to fix/replace electric openers, with good success. – June 2024

Koops installed two new garage doors for us, We couldn’t be happier, the doors are absolutely beautiful and Ed and Jamie were fantastic. We had shopped around and decided Koops was the best place to purchase the doors from, Ed is so nice and easy to get a hold of. They had previously repaired our old doors and were fantastic then, but it was time to give the garage an update and Koops was the best. Ed is so easy going and was so helpful with picking out the doors and educationg us on the different grades of doors, we had no idea. Recently had a new garage door and door opener replaced/installed. Was installed within a week of my accepting estimate. Ed (owner) was pleasant to work with, and very informative, offering several options for my situation. Installed door/opener along with all new hardware (rails/rollers/springs and safety sensor beam eyes) within 2 hours. Took away old door and parts as well, very pleased and would highly recommend. – March 2024

From scheduling the estimate, scheduling the job, job completion, and cleanup. When hiring a contractor I am always a bit cynical wondering what un-known complications may arise. I was referred to Koops after an inquiry amongst my friend group on social media; Koop’s was the first business to be mentioned, and also the first to respond to my initial message. I was in need of a new door for a 2 car garage, our existing door had begun to split in the center of the top panel, and we were concerned it could potentially fall if it failed further, risking injury and/or vehicle damage. Ed came out quickly, found options to save us some money, and and was super easy to communicate with through the process of selecting, ordering, and I stalling our door. Immediately after the new door was installed we had neighbors reaching out to find out who did the work; overall it was a 10/10 experience. I manage multiple condominium and townhouse projects and always recommend Koops Overhead Doors.  We were using other contractors, but Koops price and service can’t be matched.  They are reasonable and reliable.

Replaced all the pulleys for our garage doors and replaced the seal at the bottom of the doors with a higher quality seal. Our doors now work beautifully and the rain is no longer able to come in.  – 04/22/13

Hooray for Koops!  When my mother’s garage door broke down after hours, they were the only ones who returned my phone call, went right over and gave it a temporary fix. Their subsequent estimate for a permanent repair proved the most reasonable and they returned promptly and finished the job. Thank you very much. – 03/26/13

I contacted Ed Koops on a Friday to install a new garage door. He came on the following Monday and made measurements and quoted me a very competitive price. He said he could come on Wednesday of that same week to install the door and take away the old door. Ed was here at 8:30 am on Wednesday morning and at 11:30 am was finished.
